PostSubject: [Fixed] Invulnerable Vortigaunt.   Tue Jan 13, 2015 7:26 am

The HL2 Vortigaunt remains invulnerable if its hurt by weapons at the same time it's caught in a green toxin cloud, allowing it to attack you with impunity.

This happened to me few times as well. I was really pissed off when he kept killing me because he reflected all my attacks back at me, until realizing that some weird bug happened! Mad Thankfully I save often on multiple slots and if I see something like this happening, I reload an earlier save game prior and try to prevent this bug from happening again. Smile

Hey, do you manually go to the save menu to save on different slot, or do you have some kind of script/alias to do this?

I save on 3 different slots using the F2 button, so that if something bad happens such as saving a second before I die (which happened to me once in Hellcore 2.0) I can reload an earlier save. I usually save on a single slot but if I want a backup save in case of the above scenario or being in middle of fight and wanting to save just because of something cool that a monster dropped, I save on another slot. And just to be sure that next map doesn't become impossible (example a boss I can't beat with what I currently have and want to make game spawn another boss), I save on another slot at end of each level. Hope this helps! Smile
