This uses offsets, right? We dont need extra frames hogging up space in AEoD.

As far as I understood, yes.
With a catch, though: images should not have the offsets themselves (or offsets should be 0, 0).
Maybe in some future version he will fix it. It seems to be a trivial enough thing to do.
