What I have been thinking about since version 3.0 was the idea of tougher versions of the same enemies ("leveled-up" versions to be exact) while making those spawn more and more rarely. The game that inspired that idea was God Hand's dynamic difficulty levels.

I'll implement that idea on my edition though, since I kind of like to challenge myself further... without having to put the player through the same thing.

Enable fast monsters. There you go.

A good chunk of enemies turn invulnerable for their attacks too.

Edit: Before you ask, no, none of the skill levels have fast monsters. Not even nightmare. I don't know why either, but oh well.

@DBT - Only slightly more difficult with each "level" I meant... then again, It'll only be in my edition. In no way would I actually force the player to suffer through that torture.

I see... but the "leveled-up" versions of the monsters I'll do myself when I have the time. School's open for me next week, so I won't be nearly as active then.

rather primitiv idea, we ahve already troubles to get the game balanced. doing that would be somewhen after we got the balnce rigth. <Then more of the same sounds boring to me.

also fastmonster flag is not so well supported from us that why its not used.
