When wielding two of these, upon firing the weapon graphics disappear.

(and why a developer post bugs? to remember Razz )

Did you try on zdoom? Not gzdoom in software render: Zdoom.

That's odd. Last night I tested with the latest SVN available and I also got much more warnings on the console about missing or unknown patches. Check the console when aeod is loading.

I am a MILLION percent positive that I have NO errors or warnings, and it works just fine.

Want to know how that is zdoom? Only GZdoom can render 6-sided skyboxes. Zdoom cannot.

Why don't you pop into livestream and I'll show you that I am having none of these issues? It's easy for me to show you that way.

Oh, and I even tested with r2716 myself just now. Still nothing. Hmm. The only few warnings I get is because of some external lumps I'm loading from other mods (personal modifications that act as replacements of a few actors in AEoD)

However, the TEXTURES warnings are not present anymore.

I think I found the problem.

The animation won't play if I run the game in 800x600 windowed mode, but if I switch it to full screen THEN change the screen resolution to 1024x768 it works. However, doing this breaks Zdoom and I can't switch it back to Windowed using the Video Settings.

If I force it with alt-enter, then change the screen resolution to anything, it stops working.


So, I think the problem is with windowed mode, or 800x600 screen resolution. I'm going to keep messing around with it until I can narrow it down, but I hope that helps.


EDIT: Okay, this is weird.

If I start it in 1024x768 in full screen, the animation won't play. Then if I switch back to 800x600 full screen, it plays... For some reason, the animations won't work until I do a full screen video restart.

Any ideas?

@V1cT: Whoa! That's an interesting finding.

However, we got it working already. Is just a matter of time to release a new patch once enough bugfixes are gathered.
