PostSubject: [Fixed] List of monsters with bad disintegration deaths   Mon Sep 13, 2010 9:12 am

Trying to kill these monsters will result in them turning pure black and playing their regular death state:

-FCacolich1
-OmenWaspSuper
-MiniBoneDragon
-Quake 2 flying bosses
-Quake 2 jetpack monsters

How are they being bugged?
When disintegrated in the air, for some reason they are still relying on their crash state. If they are on the ground originally and disintegrated, they disappear just fine.

This also happens with the big quake 2 flying bosses and with nihilant.

Nihilanth has no disintegration death. The big quake 2 bosses I forgot about. Added to the above.

Thanks. This will come handy. I did think there would be some exceptions on the disintegrate death, but I couldnt actually think of any.

Well, when I reported the MMBoneDragon a while ago we were having issues replicating it, yet now we can. Glad this helps.

Well, that was interesting, but indeed, we we're able to reproduce and fix. Somehow.

And this includes other monsters that have the same issue. Is just a curious case of how the engine handle stuff in certain situations.
