I tried to load my save file and it said "file was saved with different set of ACS modules" what does that even mean? and is there any way to load my save?

If you didnt change any of the files since the last time you saved, then the two aeod files are being loaded in the wrong order.

Well, there's that and the fact that zdoom/gzdoom update the savegame version numbers when upgrading the SVN repo. However, like DBT said, if you didn't upgrade then it's a problem with your load order. This'll happen if you play with non-vanilla maps for sure.

I have the latest version of zdoom and am also playing with hell revealed.

Didn't want to double post so I'm just editing this one,um this may sound odd but I dragged the AEOD files and HR files to the zdoom icon and now my save file works...strange.

btw, thanks for the help and I love AEOD great work Very Happy

Just for some clarification, if the file loading order changes between sessions, is expected to have issues. I'd recommend to use either a shortcut or the command line with the "file" parameters, to have it running always in the same order.

In either the shortcut or the command line, when running zdoom, add:
Code:
-file HR.wad AEoD.pk3 AEoDdat.pk3

Or as you see fit.

Somehow, I've never had any problems selecting all the WADs and PK3s in my Doom folder, and dragging and dropping them onto GZDoom. It's never given me a problem that I'm aware of. The order is all done naturally.
