PostSubject: [Vexing / Out of scope] Script error!   Sun Feb 27, 2011 7:03 pm

I'm running Mac OS X with Leopard installed. It is a Powerpc. I am using ZDoom-r3138 from the DRD team website. Every time I run AEoD v5.29 I get this error. I am not using any wads.
(Besides doom2.wad.) It doesn't matter which doom I use!

I get the following message: (Be sure to look at the bottom of it!)

That's extremely strange... Did you modify the aeoddat.pk3 file at all?

Unfortunately, I have no way to check this since I dont have a mac.

I did try however running aeod 5.29.1 with the latest windows build (r3155) and I get no issues.

The error is displaying, looks like if something had been changed in AEoDdat.pk3. If you didnt touch it at all, then you'll have better luck reporting this to the zdoom forums, since the AEoD code is fine, hence why it works in the win builds with no errors.

So, did you modify by any chance the file?

The relevant code is this:
Code:
    DamageFactor "Infinity", 0
and there's nothing wrong there.

No, I have not modified it.

The strange part is the fact that I got it off the Zdoom Forum. Then I tried this site!

Still doesn't work...

Sad

I have this problem too. Limux Mint x86_64 and myself-compiled GZDoom rev 1198. Without this patch it runs fine but doesn't show any HUDs other than zdoon standard one.

Again, if you downloaded a fresh copy of the mod and you haven't touched it at all (other than playing) then the issue is Zdoom's. We do not know how to handle issues with Mac or Linux, so your luck will be better in the Zdoom forums.

Im closing this one, because nobody has any way to try this, and the bug sounds more like an engine bug, rather than AEoD's.
