So everyone here, if not most of you lot, know about Invasion UAC so far. It was apparently made for ZDaemon and the author uses shotgun guys, baron of hells, and a few other monsters to replace the originals. Quite honestly, I sure didn't like the ideas. The maps have great potential for mass-chaotic run-around slaughterfests with some nice puzzles thrown into it, but it had terrible execution in some areas such as the fucking train run on map 29.

Well... I'm aiming to "fix" it, and I'm going to do it a bit more AEoD-friendly.

Post any suggestions/ideas/complaints about the IUAC original map set here so I can evaluate needing changes.

These are my suggestions:

- The bosses of the WAD needs to be fixed. They're usually replaced by Zombieman/Imp classes with +10000 HP, and one of the Zombieman monsters has Thamuz's sprites. How about... New bosses? Cool

- There's a shitload of monsters in the Invasion Maps. It lags the game horribly, so the amount should be reduced.

- Remove the collision of those pointing red/green arrows. Most of the time they just obstruct your way.

- ...Ghoul Forest Monsters. Twisted Evil

- No weapon lose while entering the train, also, a shitload of HP for the enemy train.

- And to make everything more interesting... How about more monsters in every map? Those event spawns, they should be increased.

- Is it possible to make the corpses of monsters to disappear after a time? That would reduce slowdown.


And that's all. lol!

I've already fixed them so they are their own entities. Now I just need to adjust all the spawners.

That's the point. If you need to, use disintegration methods. Razz

That's just because of how aeod's systems are set up. You can disable them by disabling the effects at the end of the AEoD decorate inclusion file.

Major Cooke, how is this project?

Meanwhile, I had an idea that is pretty close to this. There is a map called 4000 Monsters, which is surprisingly fun as is. However, not all of the enemy types are featured there. I wish somebody would add a few twists to it, filling them up with the rest of the cast---I, myself, am an absolutely awful mapper. (That is, unexperienced as hell.)
Would you give it a shot one day, please?

This is on hold. Currently, my main focus is upon AEoD + a sequel to HTC2.
