The pin is what holds the "primer" apart from the actual fuse, in this case that big handle. You could technically pull the pin, and (though I kinda doubt it unless you have a good hold, the patience and the nerve to do so) potentially put it back in. However, once the latch has been released after the pin is pulled, it's considered primed and will "cook" to explosion.
