Why is it preferred to load megawads before AEoD and AEoDDat? I usually add them to end of list, thus letting megawad have last words in music and/or intermission text.

By the way, if you're tired of cloning numerous batch files to load AEoD with different megawads, you can make just one with

    d: (your hdd)
    cd d:\doom (your aeod folder)
    gzdoom -file aeod.pk3 aeoddat.pk3 %1 %2 %3

    or, according to official guides,

    d: (your hdd)
    cd d:\doom (your aeod folder)
    gzdoom -file %1 %2 %3 aeod.pk3 aeoddat.pk3

And then, voila, just drag'n'drop other wads on this batch file!
(grey text, of course, is commentary)

    ...................................................................................

I think you just left me dumbstruck. If it's really that easy... *HEADDESK*

Question, whats the %1 %2 %3 stuff indicate? Because I load my aeod.pk3 and aeoddat.pk3 from my doom 2/base/WADS/Weaponry folder, and my doom 2/base is where my gzdoom.exe resides. If you could kindly explain that for me, it'd be much appreciated.

%1 %2 %3 is where the attributes that go to batch file (via drag'n'drop) are applied. It's %1 %2 %3 for loading up to three other files. (Not that I ever used more than two anyway.)

    For such case, try using:

    yourhdd:
    cd "yourpath/doom 2/base"
    gzdoom -file WADS/Weaponry/aeod.pk3 WADS/Weaponry/aeoddat.pk3 %1 %2 %3

Edit: ah wait. This would work if wads to drag'n'drop were in "doom 2/base".
But what if other wads are in WADS directory too? Or in WADS/levels or something?
And where is the bat to run?
Anyway, try this out, and maybe add somewhere something. For me (with my Doom folder being one hell of a dumpster), the bat that I provided earlier works.

Very interesting. I never knew one could do that. I think I will include this .bat in the aeod pack, you know, for those user that cant figure how to open a can of soda.

Please note that drag'n'drop generates full path in %1 %2 %3 section. That's why it needs to know exact position of AEoD files and GZDoom itself. And editing batch file isn't something very easy for someone so dumb that they can't open a can of dr. Pepper.
