I have version 6.0 of AEoD since I wanted too just test it out. And I have downloaded the latest version of both ZDoom and the SVN. But I still get a million script errors when I load AEoD into ZDoom. The only new thing I end up with is a new HUD, nothing else new. What am I doing wrong? confused

Maybe your not launching aeod properly. Both pk3 files should be loaded like it says in the readme file, if you are only loading one of them you will get loads of errors. If you want to launch it like I said in the clip then you should write -file AEoD.pk3 AEoDdat.pk3 behind the target in the shortcut options.

Also it helps if you post the versions of the svn, zdoom and aeod when you do a post about issues. You might think you got the latest version but I bet atleast half of the issues new people get is not having it.

For reference this is the clip he/she has watched and followed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03aCLWdiXFI&feature=channel_video_title

Indeed. I would avoid doing the click+drag method of booting the game if you do that, and make sure AEoD.pk3 is loaded first, otherwise you will get errors.

I have all the files in the correct place. My Zdoom version is 2.5. The SVN is version r-3399. AEoD version si 6.0

I've tried using the method in your video, but I get an error saying the target box is not valid. I'm using Vista by the way.

EDIT: I managed too find the problem, and boy am I embarassed. Instead of putting in Zdoom.exe -file customwad.wad AEoD.PK3 AEoDdat.pk3. I entered:
Zdoom.exe-file customwad.wad AEoD.PK3 AEoDdat.pk3

Haha, forgot one space. Ah well, it works now. Cheers for the help cheers
